The Women’s Building Celebration
of Craftswomen. A unique opportunity to find
gorgeous, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, fine crafts, and
contemporary art. The show features over 200 artists over
two weekends.
When:

Herbst Pavilion at Fort Mason
Center in San Francisco

Why:
This event benefits The Women’s
Building, a multi-cultural community center where women
and girls achieve self-sufficiency and pursue their dreams.
Monies raised though the raffle, admission fees, and booth
fees go to the organization. Programs offered by The Women’s
Building include a free bilingual Spanish/English information
and referral service, educational support for low-income
adults, financial counseling, and community events that
promote arts, culture, and discussion. The first women-owned
community center in the U.S., the Women’s Building
houses ten diverse community groups and has helped launch
more than 160 women’s programs and initiatives in
San Francisco.
Tickets:
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for
seniors and students, and free for children under 12.
A two-day pass that can be used any two days on either
weekend is $14.
