Overview
We estimate that over 20,000 people pass through our doors
each year, for a range of programs, services, and celebrations
offered by TWB and affiliated organizations.
Please
note that there are 11 organizations that operate within The
Women's Building, and each runs separately. For more information
on programs offered by our tenant organizations, see
Affiliated Organizations.
Strategies
Our
programs work towards our mission in three key ways:
- Increasing
the economic
security of individual women and girls;
through services for individuals.
- Building
community among women, girls, and our allies;
through cultural
arts activities.
- Promoting
social change
to improve the status of women and girls;
through education, capacity building and collaboration.
Services
for Economic Security & Well-Being
Our
services for individuals are offered through our Community
Resource Room (CRR). The services are designed to support
low-income women, but anyone who supports our goals is welcome.
All services are FREE and available in English and
Spanish unless otherwise noted.
